Oliver Wright is a lawyer, writer and private educator. After graduating UCLA as class major valedictorian, Oliver earned his Master and Doctor and of Law Degrees, cum laude, from Cornell Law School, where he was Editor of the Cornell Law Review.
Oliver Wright began his career as a Litigator and Corporate Lawyer at international law firm Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, which was ranked the No. 1 Litigation Firm in the country in 2010. On the writing side, Oliver left Gibson to sign a book deal with renowned New York publisher Grove Atlantic (Cold Mountain; Blackhawk Down) for a Wall Street roman-a-clef, working titled: Screwed, Shafted, Burned, Betrayed: Scum & Villainy on Wall.
Oliver Wright’s academic writings have been published in journals such as the Harvard International Journal of Press-Politics. Musically, Oliver was Executive, Producer of the critically praised hip hop album Music2BreakUp (2009). His forthcoming album, Stand Your Ground, is set for release later this year and features production and lyrics by Jack Johnson, Grammy winners Evidence (Dilated Peoples) and RBX, plus LMNO of the Visionaries, LD & Ariano, the Rhyme Sayers JFK, and Pace Won, among other notables.
